am i a good transfer candidate ?

i am currently in my first year of university , i am thinking of applying for transfer to georgetown or brown ,i was wondering how hard it is to get into one of these colleges. If my sat are pretty good and i have a strong GPA for my semester at college but i didnt do so well at highschool, i did the ib and only got 30.

i have also done alot of extra charity work and community stuff and had to take a gap year for medical reasons , do i have any chance of getting in???

For the first year transfers, your chances to get in Gtown and Brown is slim to none. They will look at everything you had in HS. Better off try it in the second year, at least you might have a chance, but don’t count on it,

what if i did the retakes and got around 36 , my sat are over 2100 and in addition during my last year of high school i had some medical issues which caused me to take a gap year after high school do deal with these issues does that at all improve my chances

2100 isn’t competitive for the schools you mentioned, realistically
