Am I able to transfer directly from a community college to the McIntire?

<p>That is the case of my friend. he's a junior and declared he intended major as commerce and he is now waitlisted.</p>

<p>Does the McIntire school accept preresequite courses taken in other colleges?</p>

<p>You should be able to as long as you fulfill all the pre-Comm requirements. </p>

<p>Note: transferring into McIntire is pretty competitive since only 25-40 non-UVa transfers are accepted into the Comm School annually. McIntire accepts around 300 UVa students from its other schools every year.</p>
