Am I able to update my colleges with my recent successes in February/March? Is it worth it?

Colleges like the Ivies, Johns Hopkins, Rice, WashU, Stanford, etc. And the pertinent information is related to my robotics team being the only team in our district to advance to state, and we’re able to do so by outstanding performance (points) and STEM expansion into the community; as well as me taking the #1 spot in my state’s NSDA qualifier for LD Debate, so I’ll be going to Nationals. Is any of this worthy, or even doable? Is it too late, since this is about the time they are making their final decisions?

(I checked some application portals, and wasn’t sure if it was even applicable?)

I would also like to know if I could do this next Sunday (03/14) since it will be the day after my Varsity State Debate Competition, where I expect to do well.

I would say it’s probably too late. But if you find yourself on a WL, these could make your LOCI a standout.

That’s just an opinion, nothing based in fact. Curious to hear what others think.

It can’t hurt. Some of the schools on your list, such as the Ivys, don’t have notification dates until very late March or early April. Ivy Day is 4/6/21 this year. You could update now or wait until after the 14th. As the previous poster said, you could save the information for a letter of continued interest in the event you are waitlisted.

I truly believe it may be too late but if you are able to, wherever possible do it!
