I am a US citizen, but I was born in India

My family moved the the US when I was 2 months old and lived there for 12 years

I did half of middle school and high school in India

Also, would I have to take the TOEFL?

You are a US applicant for financial aid purposes. That is a very good thing.

Since you have been educated abroad, your academic transcripts might be evaluated by someone who usually reads applications from India.

Each place sets it’s own rules about the TOEFL. You have to investigate that with them.

If you get confused in the application process, just ask the admissions offices. They will tell you what to do. Don’t be surprised if each place handles things a bit differently.
