Am I behind?

Spring 08 (Jumpstart student) - Mass Comm 101 3 units

Summer 08 (Senior Graduation) - Philo 101 3 units, Socio 101 3 units, and Econ 102 3 units

Fall 08 (First year) - Calc 1 5 units, English 101 3 units, Student Dev. 1 unit

Student Government

I only took 9 units for my first fall semester, am I behind?

I'm going to apply to UC's but for USC im going to apply after 30 units will I be able to get it done by then?

Just take winter and summer classes if you feel you are behind.

I will take those for sure but I still feel behind even if I take them, also it's said that my school with shorten summer to 1 session instead of 2.

You can take classes at more than one community college. This is not a problem at all and is allowed. I did.

You should take 15 units for a regular semester to be on the right track. Anything less than that.. well you can make it up with summer school. But I would say you are kind of behind..

I don't think your behind as you got an early start while you were in high school. But I would try to find one more class to be at least be considered a full time student, or like have some people mentioned find a class maybe some ******** GE at a different CCC.

It's very simple. If you are trying to transfer in one year, then yes you are behind for taking only 9 units. If you are not trying to transfer in one year, then you should be fine since you have those jump-start units to offset the light unit load.

^Oh I didn't see he was trying to transfer in one year. Then you are behind then.

I would check the short term classes that start sometimes months later--- unless that would be too much of a heavy load..

some of them are web classes at my cc, which is really convenient

BTW, why only one year??? thats not much time, but you can do it! take like 15 units of classes during the summer and you'll be okay!

if you manage your classe so that they are balanced, it makes it easier. i am taking 19 units...
