Am I close enough to the top GPA?

I have a 4.0 Weighted with one of the most rigorous courses someone at my school could take. The highest GPA in my class is a 4.3. Am I close enough to the highest GPA? Am I a competitive applicant?

None of us know because you gave too little info.

What is your rank / decile? What colleges are you targeting? What is your unweighted, since that is more critical for comparison?

I am top 10%. I am targeting for schools such as UMKC’s 6 year program and some ivies maybe. My unweighted is a 3.8.
