Am I crazy?

I’m a soph in HS now, but as the year’s been winding down I’ve been looking into colleges more.

Am I crazy, or would it be possible to MAJOR in something IR related, like International Studies, and MINOR in Arab Studies, Israel Studies, Arabic (and possibly Russian) (What I mean is a combination of a few of those four; if that makes sense). i really love cultures and languages, so this just seems to work for me, but will I have the time??

And also, would getting B+ (with a few C+'s sprinkled in) mess up my chances at an IR major?

Thanks

My son’s roommate at AU is doing exactly that, majoring at the SIS with a minor in Arabic.

Is it even possible to do multiple minors (two, or three)? Of would it just be better to get a certificate or two in the offered areas that are relevant?

Thanks

My son has firgured it out how he can get a dual major in the business school (the requirements overlap, so that makes it easier) and a minor in math.

But whether or not he can pull off getting the courses he needs in the order he needs them in will determine the outcome.

He figured this out by checking the requirements for each major/minor. You would need to do that for whatever you are considering. I think admissions would help you figure this out, they love students who take an interest in the school. Or if they don’t have the time to do it, maybe they would send you the catalog so you can research it yourself.
