Am i doomed? Please look and respond.

Hi, I just finished Junior year and I am going to be going into my senior year so college applications are looming.
Just received my SAT II scores and I'm a bit worried.

i REALLY want to go to Duke. Know a few good friends who went there and have studied up on the school and im planning to apply there early.

Do the SAT subject tests really hinder my chances?
i know a lot of people say that you should get above 750 on three of them to stand a chance...i have strong extracurricular, but its the scores im worried about...

SAT I:2200
SAT II (if submitted): Math Level 2-790, Chemistry-730, US-720
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.94
Grades in AP/IB/honors classes (if applicable): AP Biology-B+, AP Human Geo-A, AP Calc AB-A, AP Calc BC-A, AP Chem-A, AP US-A, AP World-A, AP Lang-A
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 3/345
AP (place score in parenthesis): AP Human Geo-5, AP World-5, AP Calc AB-5, the rest idk yet
IB (place score in parenthesis): NA
Senior Courses: AP Spanish, AP Statistics, AP Literature, AP Gov Pol/Comp Gov, Orchestra, AP Physics B

Your SAT II scores are not great but they are not too bad either.
Decent chances at Duke (ED)

Good luck to you!

“am I doomed” Do you really believe this and are simply terribly mis-informed about Duke admissions? Or are you just preening or looking for back slaps?

SAT IIs above 700 are acceptable to most schools unless you are applying to some special programs where they are specific about some subject scores.

You should be fine with Duke.
