Am I dumb or did I make the right move?

I withdrew out of Harpur and asked my application to be rereviewd for watson due to my growing intrest in engineering. Meaning if I get denied from Watson than I cant attened Binghamton anymore. Was that a dumb thing to do?

Also...does anyone have any clue as to how much harder it is to get into Watson?

Did you have to withdraw to apply to Watson? If you didn't, I'd consider is a little stupid. It all boils down on how bad you wanted to go to Binghamton as well.

Well yea I had to withdraw...well actully its automatically a withdrawl when you ask to be re-reviewed. I do really want to go to Binghamton but I have realized that Harpur doesnt offer a major that really interests me besides biochemsitry maybe. So with my growing interest in Engineering I realized that thats what I should do at Binghamton if I attened.

I'm thinking about Biochem, myself. Well, I'd say you made the right decision. You wouldn't like doing something that wasn't your interest in the first place..

well I was admitted into Watson...so I guess it was a good decision after all

Congrats!
I would have felt really bad if you had been rejected from a school you were originally accepted for due to your own actions.

=D

how did you find out so fast?

Congrats! And yeah, why so fast?

I emailed the admission counsler and she told me.
