Am I eligible for the AB 540? Help, please!

<p>I was wondering if I was eligible for the California Non-resident exemption tuition a.k.a. AB 540. I am currently a senior and will be graduating high school in California next year; I have gone to this high school all four years. My family and I are not U.S. citizens and we did not enter the U.S. illegally. Also, I am an L1 visa dependent under my dad. My teacher gave me this form after I told her about my situation. It seems like an awesome opportunity, but I don't want to get my hopes up if I'm not even eligible. </p>

<p>But do make back-up plans in case you don’t qualify, or if the policy changes. Are you eligible for any education benefits from your dad’s employer? Some companies offer those for their L visa employees.</p>

<p>I didn’t know that was an option. I’ll be sure to ask my dad if I am eligible.</p>
