am i in danger of being rescinded?

<p>today was the last day of school, and one of my teachers hasn't posted my second semester grade yet. i'm worried it might be a D. however, the class is chemistry and i have already completed two other sciences. if my grade is a D, what are my chances of being rescinded if i tell them right away?</p>

<p>My son has been accepted to UCSC for the fall and just learned he has a D+ in physics. It’s his only D ever and he was only 1.25 points away from a C-. We’ve been advised the UCSC admissions to write a letter now but just wanted to know if you heard anything from anyone else with a similar experience last year. We are sweating it out!</p>
