Here's the situation:

I have maintained a 4.0 the first semester of my senior year, and this second semester it looks like I will finish with somewhere between a 3.6 and 4.0, with no D's or F's, completely satisfying the rules for people accepted at UCSC.

This is where things get sticky; I have been taking an extra class at a local community college. It is for an extra math class. I have already fulfilled my requirement for math classes to graduate high school (3 years), and am taking this class only as an extra to look good for colleges. I could have easily just not taken this class and not much would have changed, as I took it out of my own desire and I did not have to take it. I am pretty sure I got a D or F in that class..the final grade has not come out yet. Does this D or F grade count also toward the requirement of no D or F? Or does it not, since I did not even have to take this class in the first place? I would feel awful if this did happen, since I did not even have to take the class, and I know I have been putting in effort to fight off senioritis to get good grades even this second semester. I was hoping to get a 4.0 the entire year but it looks like none of it matters now. What do you guys know about UCSC and there rescinding tendencies? How will this turn out this is really concerning to me.

Thanks for taking your time to read this, and sorry it's so long!! Hope to hear from you guys soon.
