am I in the clear? (sending ACT scores)

So basically, I took the ACT for the first time last year, and accidentally sent the score from that test (which was bad) to the school I am now applying ea to. I sent my most recent ACT to the school as well, but only like 3 days before the deadline, so it hasn’t reached yet. however, when I self-reported my ACT score on the common app, I used the most recent score

is this ok? will the school consider my most recent act, despite me sending the bad one by accident? any help would be much appreciated!

Which college did you apply to? A lot of colleges will consider your highest scores.

Pretty much every school will consider your highest score, either single sitting or superscore.

Schools typically list the latest test date theywill accept, but that assume you autosend the scores. If you took the test at some point in the past but only sent the scores to them three days before the deadline, then you risk not having them received and factored in.

They’ll consider your higher score and ignore your lower one, but only if you submitted it on time. If it isn’t on time, they’ll only have your lower one to consider. “On time” definition is school-dependent.

Thank you all for your replies.

The school I am applying to states that they do not need official score reports to evaluate your application: just what you self-reported on your application.

Should this be fine? Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, if you self-reported your higher scores and the school doesn’t require official score reports, you are fine.

So what I’ve done is ok, despite me sending official score reports for a lower test score by accident?

Like I sent this score almost a year ago, but I was still wondering if what I’ve done is ok?

Thanks so for much for your help everybody!

Schools just look at your highest. You’re probably fine.
