<p>Even if you have a good antivirus/anti root kit installed, some schools do monitor how much uploading of data you commit.</p>
<p>They can't look at what you download, just datastreaming. if you're downloading a lot, it could just be youtube. If you're uploading a lot as well, it's likely file sharing, and they can refer you to the RIAA/MPAA (although they've stopped pursuing individual lawsuits)</p>
