I get pretty high grades in everything and my gpa is at least a 3.9 and i haven’t been to invested in that many extracurriculars or sports since I transferred schools about 3 times but I am really passionate about learning and I have stuck with the maybe 1 club this entire year and have lots of community service hours. I want to major in political science and foreign affairs.
try Cornell ED and you can probably make it. maybe dartmouth too. otherwise no to the other ivies.
We don’t have enough information. Is the GPA weighted or unweighted? Do you take a tough course load? Have you taken the SAT or ACT yet? What year in school are you? 3.9, even unweighted isn’t really that great for IVY League consideration as there are just a TON of kids who get a 4.0 each year. You can get accepted to an Ivy League school with a 3.9 or even lower of course, but you have to be strong in other areas.
I’m going to say that based on what we know, you don’t have a shot at ANY of the Ivy League schools. You didn’t provide enough information, you don’t use commas when you need to, and you wrote the longest run-on sentence I have seen here. Hopefully when it’s time for you to apply, you will do a better job.
