Hi, I was wondering if I have enough school factors that would get me into any Ivy Leagues. Currently am in 11th grade, have 3.8 GPA, I am in 5 clubs (I am a secretary and an activities director for two of those clubs), have been doing one sport for the past 2 years and am planning to do it this year. I have taken 3 AP classes sophomore year, and am taking 3 AP classes now. I have around 150 hours of community service.
Sophomore year I was in 4 clubs. Freshman year I was in like, 1 or 2.
Do I have a chance at Ivy Leagues? Which ones? How can I improve or what should I integrate overall to get in?
You do not have a great shot. That probably sounds harsh but the competition is fierce.
3.8 GPA is great. Study for the SATs and knock them outta the park. Yes you have a shot. Your ECs are all over the place. Dedicate yourself to up to 3 and get a clear leadership role. Good Luck, aim high, but also be realistic and apply to some match/safeties too.
Is the 3.8 weighted or unweighted?
Ivy League is a just a status term. There’s so many fantastic schools out there that aren’t ivies. Maybe you have a shot-it’s going to depend on your SAT/ACT scores and GPA and essays- but try to broaden your horizons.
