Seeing this info, what kind of college do you guys think i should be aiming for?

I’d say you are on track for Ivy League given your grades and your background. As long as you have a solid ACT or SAT score (>2200 or >32) and keep getting good ECs and grades than I definitely think you defininitely have a shot to get an Ivy League education especially the less prestigious ones like Cornell or Penn. I think one thing that you should really write about when you apply to these schools is your background being from Africa. Most of these Ivy League schools want a diverse student population so your unique background makes you stand out from all the other applicants.

-Hispanic who doesn’t go to an ivy league school himself but has a brother who does.

Was really into music played in many competitions since he was little. Also worked in a research lab over the summers. was in some clubs, had high SAT and ACT scores and ranked #5 out of around 700. His high school wasn’t even near the top 100 in the country like yours though.

Duke or Cornell would both be pretty good targets. Cornell has the least competitive admissions of any of the Ivies but is a great school. Duke is right around the same level of competitive-ness.
Any idea what you want to study in college? The program you apply to in a school obviously has some bearing on your chances of admission.
