Definitely!
While good luck getting into the Ivies (it’s really, really, really hard) and Stanford, you have a good chance at Berkeley, Hopkins, UCSD, UCLA, Rutgers (definitely in), Drexel (definitely in), and NYU (definitely in).
Keep up the good work, and UPenn and Cornell will probably be ins, and the others are low/medium reaches.
Chance me?

get your SAT up. Try to take majority AP classes in junior and senior year. Get better quality extracurricular. Harvard, yale princeton, and other top collegs are a reach for you at this moment.

@ indianguy:

Still studying hard! I’m aiming at 2300+, and I do plan on taking all the AP classes I can. thanks :)

Keep up the good work and you’re sure to get in  Good luck

thanks!

bump~

I’d love if I could get a few more opinions/suggestions~

Also, I just found out my school is in ranked in the top 100 schools (public and private) nationwide. The senior class sends about 12~ students every year to the Ivies (120~ class size), and I think I’d rank about… top 10 %

201 on the PSAT as a Sophomore is great. You definitely want to get your score up when you take the actual SAT at your Junior year. Your GPA is solid, and your ECs are strong. Your ECs could be better (and also use more emphasis on your field of interest), and keep in mind, as a Chinese American, colleges won’t like to see you submit a SAT II score of your own language.

@ Calvin:

really? xD basically every single chinese person I know (my age and ones who have already gone to college) have taken the Chinese SAT II o_o’

& I do plan on volunteering at an animal shelter… that should help, right?
