Am I on the right track?

I'm a rising junior, and am toying with the idea of applying to MIT. Can someone take a look and let me know if I'm in the ballpark thus far (or how to improve)? I'll give as much info as I can (it's long). Thanks.

Note on classes and grades: I freshman year averaging 1-2 B+ a semester, the second semester of my sophomore year fixed that to a 4.0, so biggest upward trend possible.

ECs

-Crew - made varsity as a freshman, will be varsity all 4 years
- Model UN (9,10,11,12)
-Student Congress - elected representative
-Ski Club
-Hockey (only did as a freshman)
-Spanish Honor Society
-Mu Alpha Theta
-Volunteered at charity bike ride - 3 days overnight
-Starting volunteer work at local hospital this week
-Founded a small non-profit organization that sends money for books and supplies to a library that I helped build in rural Panama. I work closely with 3 people in the US and 2 in Panama.

Other: I speak Spanish fairly fluently, but not a native speaker.

you’re fine. do your best next three semesters. let your passion show in one or two select ECs that you enjoy. there is no easy-to-follow play-book for mit.

You don’t have a 5.7/6… Honors are weighted on 5, and classes that say “Advanced” are either honors or regular, only AP or Advanced Placement are AP courses.

Its the schools fault that you don’t have many APs but hopefully that won’t hurt you. In florida I took 2 APs freshman, 2 Sophomore, 3 Juniors, 8 senior, so 15 total AP classes.
