I registered yesterday on this website, and I plan to get the maximum I can out of it
I’m currently a sophomore in high school:
last year, I finished with a weighted numerical GPA of a 99.857 (Unweighted 96.857), and went on an accounting I competition in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)–and placed 5th at the 2015 NLC.
This year, I am not doing too well in my classes, except for my honors chemistry and math class, along with my electives (Intro to Healthcare and Latin 2H). I’m struggling so much in AP World History (range from 84-85), and I’m so scared that I’ll end with a B in the class, because we only have one test left excluding the final; I am also struggling in 10th Honors Literature (currently 86), but my grade is rising constantly.
However, I’m actively participating in FBLA–I am an officer (reporter) at my school for it, and am aiming to become Vice President next year; also, did I mention I started class council this year?
Other than that, I have not done anything special lately, except for do a bunch of service hours (for FBLA and tutoring middle school kids–2 hours per week).
Freshman year, I took Honors Biology, Honors Accelerated Algebra I/Geometry, PE, Onlevel government, Latin I, 9th Honors Literature, and Accounting I.
This year, I’m taking Intro to Healthcare (my accounting teacher retired), APWH, Latin 2 Honors, Honors Chemistry, 10th Honors Lit, and Honors Accelerated Geometry/Algebra II.
Any recommendations on what I should do more or start doing more actively? What courses should I take next year (I’m more interested in the sciences and math)?
Thanks for reading–this is such a long post…
