Status: Although ive been here for 8 years, i don't have greencard so i don't know if im considered international. Im not a permanent resident i guess
School type: ive gone to 3 different high schools so far, and my current one is not very competitive. sends about 1-2 to top colleges, rest go to berkeley.</p>

SAT subject- 790 in bio
AP test- 5 on bio (10th0
AP's taking this year- calc bc, stats, physics c, chem, eng, and us history. All A's
Classes next year- Ap econ, eng and spanish. calc 3, light and modern physics and advanced analysis (first semester). partial diff., linear algebra and another physics class (2nd semester)</p>

Math team (went to states) and quiz bowl in 10th grade
math team (hopefully president), science olympiad, science fair, debate and tutoring club in 11 grade.
Hopefully math team prez and tutoring club prez by senior year.
i think i can make aime, if that helps.
around 100 or so hours of community service in tutoring for math and volunteering for hospital.
good shot at getting into ucsf's summer biomedical physics internship in summer (only 10 out of all of central cali are selected).
I probably made national merit scholar and hopefully will make ap scholar and so on.
Sports;
welli played jv volleyball in 10th, but thats about it. im thinking of starting a badminton club, as i love badminton and theres no sport in my high school.</p>

do i have good shot at ivies and mit/caltech and so on?

<p>^Well there are alot of hypotheticals in your “application”. So i wouldn’t guarantee anything. However, if you accomplish everything you say you will, you certainly have solid chances.</p>

<p>You can’t have a 4.4 UW GPA, it’s out of a possible 4.33. You would have a 4.33 if you got A+'s in every single class…</p>
