Am I on track to getting into Georgia Tech with a 89.27 Unweighted/ 93.5 Weighted GPA Junior Year?

I currently have a 89.27 Unweighted/ 93.5 Weighted GPA Beginning Junior Year. First of all, i want to know what that would be for a 4.0 GPA. My Class Rank is 139/572.

My hopes are to get into Georgia Tech for pre-med for college. I am not sure if I even have a chance at going to Georgia Tech. I want to know if I still have a chance to bring my GPA up in order to get in Georgia Tech or a similar school. I am taking 3 AP courses this year and 3 Honors classes. I have already taken 2 AP’s and 7 Honors classes during my Freshmen and Sophomore years. I want to know what i exactly have to maintain in order to get even noticed for Georgia Tech. I am at least striving for a 3.7, but I am not sure if i am able to do that. My PSAT score last year was a 1300, so i dont know if that helps in anyway, and i know i can improve that score as well as my grades since I might take one or two regular classes Senior year. I am just afraid that I have ruined my chances of getting into a good school since I have a friend that applied last year to Georgia Tech that had a 4.0, took many AP classes, and was involved in various extra-curicular activities.

Also, does Georgia Tech care about our Weighted GPA’s since I am confused as to if I convert my Weighted or Non-weighted GPA.

BTW, I was on the Robotics Team Freshmen year and JV Tennis Team in Sophmore year. I also did Model UN both years and I started doing Student Ambassadors last year. Is that enough extra-curricular activites?

Thank you so much for your time and Feedback,

EF

It is a reach. They turned down in state students with higher grades and 36 ACT scores last year. So go ahead and apply, but you need matches & safeties you are happy with and know you can afford.
