My GPA and Georgia Tech.

I saw the old Georgia Institute Technology's old acceptance statistic.
And there GPA for Mid-50% was 3.76 - 4.07.
However, My GPA by senior year would be 3.72 and Weighted would be 3.8 (8 APs)..

Now I want to know if Georgia Tech's acceptance statistic mean Weighted GPA or Unweighted GPA. Which one are they talking about??

What's my acceptance rate for each of them???

I had the same problem. Obviously, the 4.07 would have to be weighted. However, I know the caliber of GTech students is far higher than that 3.7 W they claim. (I have a 4.3 and I’m a bum).

I vaguely recall the application requiring you to put in a weighted GPA, and since GTech doesn’t take reports from the school until after you’re accepted, I would say that yes, It’s Weighted.

OH… Sorry for the stupid question… But what’s my chance with GPA??? If i got 2200 on the SAT and i have like 200+ community hours and was in like 10 clubs.

Well is your course rigor the hardest your school offered? If it was, then I’d say you’re in. If not, than you’re probably still good. But has this just happened or is it just IFs?

What’s IFS??
Oh and If i get 92 with the 10 points in AP classes. Does that count as 4 or 4.5??

If’s, like did you already take the SAT. The AP Classes count as 4.5s, or however your school weights them.

My school does not have the Weigh system for GPA.
And I just found this. [GPA and Rigor of Curriculum | Admission](<a href=“Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission”>Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission)
So if I get 90-99 I am assuming it’s 4.5 on their scale.

And I did not get the score yet. But I was saying as What if. And I will be planning to get it. :D~

They will re-calculate your GPA once you applied. Don’t worry so much about it. It sounds like your a solid A/B student. I have gotten accepted to Georgia Tech and my unweighted GPA is about a 3.9, really close to a 4. I have gotten only 3 B’s in in my high school career. (my grades are by semester). I think Georgia Tech has something on their website about how they calculate the GPA.
