<p>I am heading into junior year. During sophomore year, I took the most rigorous classes and such. I finished with 5 A+'s and 2 A's taking all honors with one AP (only one I could take) and honors physics (a senior class). The workload wasn't too bad. I'm #1 in my class as of now (not bragging, just trying to give some perspective)</p>
<p>This year, I plan to take:
IB English 11
IB American History
IB Biology
AP Calculus AB
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Spanish
Honors Anatomy/Physiology</p>
<p>This workload doesn't seem too challenging to me. I feel like I can make A's or A+'s in all of these classes.</p>
<p>However, I wanted to take community college classes in the evenings. I am currently signed up for College Chemistry I which is a Tuesday/Thursday night class. I feel like this is do-able.</p>
<p>I also wanted to add College Statistics which is a Monday/Wednesday afternoon class. I don't know if this is pushing it or not.</p>
<p>My only major ECs are cross country (which ends before any of the CC classes start) and boy scouts (scoutmaster said it's okay for me to miss meetings).</p>
<p>Any feedback? I don't want to overload myself but I want to challenge myself since sophomore year wasn't that hard. Like I said, the IBs and APs won't be a problem it's just the 2 CC classes I want to take that I'm unsure about.</p>

<p>Oh and these are fall semester CC classes. Maybe I should just do one CC class this fall (College Chem I) and in the spring, if I find it doable, take College Chem II and College Stats.</p>
<p>That seems like a better option to me but I still want to hear opinions :)</p>
<p>It’s an impressive schedule. The CC classes are probably not needed to show that you’ve taken the most rigorous schedule available, but if you want to take them for learning’s sake, why not. If there’s some EC that you want to do, I wouldn’t give it up to take the CC courses, but that’s just me.</p>
<p>ECs – they’re a little bit lite. However, with scouts, any chance that you’ll make Eagle. I hear that’s impressive to many colleges for a lot of reasons.</p>
<p>Eagle is super impressive! Plus scholarships open up to you if you get it.
Also your schedule is rigorous and you’ve made good class choices.</p>
<p>Yeah I realize that my ECs are not too great. I have a few others like math league, some leadership in scouts, volunteering, etc.</p>
<p>It’s just that it’s too late to start anything junior year which is why I feel like I should max out my options academically, you know? =/</p>
<p>English, Math, and Spanish should be prior knowledge mostly.</p>
<p>History, Bio, and the electives hould be easy to pick up.</p>
<p>Adding college courses like Chem whn you (presumably) haven’t taken any Bio is a bad idea. Stats might be fine, but I reccommend one or the other.</p>
<p>If this is your Junior Year, don’t be so audacious. It always ends up twice as hard.</p>
<p>If its your Senior year, don’t be too ambitious either. Take only what you can afford, and not risk grades for classes.</p>
<p>You know yourself best, so you should judge how well you can maintain that balance.</p>
<p>I’ve already taken honors bio and honors chem.</p>
<p>I think I’ll go with the College Chem for now and not do Stats</p>
