Am I qualified for any of these UC's or CSU?

I want to apply to

UCI
UCSB
Cal Poly SLO (will early decision give me more of a chance of getting accepted to SLO)
UCSD
UCSC
San Jose State

Alright, so my record isn't so great
my weighted GPA is 3.68
Unweighted is 3.57
My SAT I is 1850
SAT II for Bio is 680 and for Math 2 is 600
I'm in my school's Key Club and Band
and have over 60 hrs. community service
Also, I have work experience bussing tables

I'm a California Resident (does it really help to live in CA), my ethnicity is Chinese and I'm 1st. generation to live in the U.S. (if it's considered), and I want to major in Biology
Also, I was wondering if Bio is a competitive major at either Cal Poly SLO or UCSB?

really don't want to go to San Jo it's really a last choice

Of course CA resident matters. It is extremely difficult to get into a CA state school if you are not a resident. Sounds like you have some homework to do.

First, go to the UC Pathways website and recalculate your GPA to the UC rubrik. Then look up the table that tells you what combination of the UC Calculated GPA and the SAT scores will qualify you for UC entrance.

[University of California - Admissions - The University of California offers one of the broadest ranges of study of any institution of higher learning in the world, all at an affordable price.](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergraduate.html)

UCSD is the only one that I think you’d have trouble with. I think the average GPA of UCSD admits was around 4.1 last year with SAT scores averaging 1950. The others are probably decent chances.
