Am I reaching too high for UCLA or Berkeley?

I’m a sophomore in a CCC applying to UCLA, Berkeley, UCI, UCSD w/ a TAG to UCSB. I currently have 30 units completed, taking 15 units this semester. I have a 3.7 as of current, and I was wondering if this was too low for UCLA or Berkeley as an Economics major. I’m hopefully looking for a 4.0 this semester to bump it up to a 3.8, but realistically more of a 3.7.

EC’s: Volunteer work at a homeless food shelter.
Part-time job(20-25 hours), had to work alot more after my dad passed away 4 months ago to help w/ payments.

Not much extracurricular, focusing solely on school & work, can’t find any internships, and there’s no clubs that pertain specifically to economics (or even business).

Any advice? Am I reaching too high?

It doesn’t hurt to apply
