Am I Really Screwed?

Ok heres the story:

My Dad got all hyped up about the SAT my Sophomore year . So hyped that he made me take it twice %( i got about 1300 each time. I am now a incoming junior, and it is required I take the new SAT. Will colleges look down upon me since I will have taken the SAT a MINIMUM of THREE TIMES. :

I am hoping colleges will only look at the New SAT scores, that way I am hoping to take the NEW SAT Twice

Peace up A town down :P

you'll get differing opinions here... some say that you should just take the SAT as many times as you want. others will say that 3 times is the most you should take it.

in any case, i dont think any college will ever look down on you if you have only taken it 3 times... especially for our class (well if you're in the class 2006) because it is a transition year and everything.

You will be fine especially since it is old vs. new SAT. Anyway, colleges really dont care how many times you take it; they really dont :)

Though there are some colleges that might frown about having too many SAT's that does not apply anywhere to having the new one over the old one.

Im class of 2007, so its required i take the new one. i was just wondering if colleges would frown on me having taken the old SAT twice

They won't care you took the old one twice. In fact, you can probably take the new one three times since they won't even consider your old SAT scores since you're in the class of 07'.

You're not "really screwed", I doubt that you're even "screwed". Its not that bad, as long as you show improvement.

:)

I don't think colleges will take that into much consideration because they are probably going to think that you took the SAT's in 10th grade for practice. They might actually like it.
