but yeah, there is such thing as an IB/AP class. my school has AP-IB Calculus. In May students take the AB calc exam, and they are also prepared for IB-HL Math Year 2. not a lot of kids make it to HL year 2 at my school though. probably like 2% of the grade, ~8 kids.

By the way: have you ever heard- it’s this fantastic thing we’ve got nowadays- it’s called spelling. You should check it out, it’s the coolest thing since Wonder Bread.

You can take IB and stuff in sophomore year but only if you’re really smart. This school does advance people, it’s a bit rarer, but it happens. And I think discrete math is something they made up there O_o

Edit: We have pretty much all of those courses except for some of the math ones, then again, this could be an older curriculum. Some of those math ones just don’t exist. But the science ones do, and the languages. I’m not sure about Theory of Knowledge.

You people really should shut up! I did not post that and as I am only a sophomore I don’t see how I could have done THAT well (although I hope to do reasonably well, haha). There are a lot of jerks at my school, so please ignore the entire thread. I didn’t even know this was authored under my own name until I went to my profile (I haven’t been on CC for a while because of my SAT 2 Math 2 coming up in a few weeks and the fact that I had the SAT for the second time, mind you, last Saturday the first.

Anyways- I am not too big on Stanford, I’m more of a Columbia person
and for the record APIB does exist, I go to <school name=“” removed=“”></school>

^ Well, watch your private information. Both to your friends and what your post here. You don’t really want to give your school name to a bunch of random people you don’t know at all.
