am i still on track to be a competitive pre-med applicant in 3 years

just finished freshman year at top 15 lib arts college
had a 3.35 first semester, got my **** together and got a 3.69 second semester for a cumulative 3.52. all my classes are A,A-,B+ except for a B- in calc III my first semester (yeah rookie mistake, thought it would be a "good" idea to jump ahead). my question is lets hypothetically say i just maintain about a 3.5ish over the next 3 years (obviously id like to bring it up but i know the reality that bringing a GPA up gets hard as the years go by) how would i look for application time with about ballpark 3.5 (not considering MCAT yet)?

have a goal of maintaining perfect 4.0. Why to set up a goal to maintain 3.5?Warning - it will get much tougher, but your attitude is on a right track, yes you will have to have your “act” together, work very hard, but so are all others. Best wishes!

About 50% of whites w/3.5/30 MCAT get in. However, upper division classes also get a lot more generous with the curve.

I forgot to add that if you have a 3.5ish you better study for the MCAT like there’s no tomorrow.

what re ur activities? that’ll also help with being competitive… what re u doin this summer? and during collegE?

shouldnt i study for the mcat’s like theres no tomorrow anyway?

this summer im going to volunteer/shadow doctors at a hospital and work as a tutor for $
next year i hope to find a research position or something a little more exciting
during the year i dont really have anything except playing rugby
