Am I the only one that got on CC considering themselves a good candidate for college, with a rigorous course-load, good EC's and a decent GPA and then when they started reading about the kids with 6 AP's as a sophomore(I'll be one in August) you feel like nothing? I know I do...
- Am I the only highschooler on CC that DOESN'T want their entire schedule to be academic classes, and am i the only one that wouldn't mind going to a state university or one NOT ranked in the top 20? I honestly do not think that it is worth taking 5-6 APs a year, and not enjoying my highschool years. Please tell me I am not alone, or if I am, tell me why you don't feel the same as me. Thank you in advance.

Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: Eh, I’ll leave that to someone with more intelligent posting skillz. But yeah, you’re definitely not the only one.

Yes you are not the only one. The aspiring HYPers are a minority in life, but a majority on here. You can find more people like yourself on the forums for colleges that are not ranked in the top 20. People here make chance threads for EVERY type of college (well maybe not ITT tech).

The definition of College Confidential on Urban Dictionary is pretty accurate, in my opinion. Although if you know where to look, you can find people like you. It’s simply because the boards for top 20 schools are more accessible that it appears the site consists only of over achievers.

teddy83: Oh my god , that post made my morning. Especially the part about ITT Tech. And thanks for the ego boost, and the urban dictionary thing…
