I've taken couple SAT IIs and I'm prepping for SATI
I personally think the barrons SAT I is so much harder than other prep books (princeton, bluebook, etc)

Is the actual test closer to the blue book or the barrons'???

I think I've heard it's harder... That way you're sure to get an extremely high score if not a perfect one.

having taken the test twice, I can tell you barron's is about 5x harder than the real thing. most other books, however, are easier - if you prep only with those, you might be stumped by a few questions and get "surprised" on the test. you should try practice tests from ALL the books (a few from each) and take your scores with a grain of salt. your TRUE score will be slightly higher than on barron's books and slightly lower than princeton or kaplan, from what I've seen.

but don't get discouraged by barron's! my friend kept getting 650-700 on every section, but then she got low-mid 700's on everything, so don't fret.

i got a 540 on barrons...800 on the real one
if i was you, just use barrons to study trig. functions, simple functions, and sin cos stuff (graphs, rec. & polar coordinates etc.) good luck!

mehhh said that other prep books are easier than the actual test...
which prep book do u guys think is the closest to the actual test???
the "blue book"?

yah use the blue book.

use barron's for math2

use the blue book, it's definitely best as it's the only book published by college board, which does make a dif.
