Ok so I'm applying early to Oberlin, and I sent in my scores a few weeks ago, trying to get a head start the whole applying process. However somehow I messed up and the collegeboard sent some SAT subject scores that I was unhappy about. My SAT composite score is a 740-690-760 and I had a 730 on the US History SAT subject test but I accidently sent a 650 on math 1 and a 640 on literature. Will this seriously hurt me?

No. I don’t believe Oberlin requires SAT IIs, and your SAT I scores are very good. My daughter didn’t take any SAT subject tests and she was admitted RD. There are many very strong LACs that don’t require them, including, but not limited to, Amherst, Swarthmore and Wesleyan.

Stop worrying. You’ll be fine. Your two ‘low’ SAT II scores are still average for Oberlin applicants. Your other test numbers are stellar.

I think you’ll be fine. In fact, you have a really good shot of getting in! Good luck!

You’ll be fine! If you’re still worried, though, can’t you still send in your U.S. History score separately? As long as the deadline hasn’t passed…
