Am I weird?

My college's decision letter is supposed to be mailed out on the 15th, but I have the option of getting it online right now. I however, wish to open the mail instead, just because it's like..the college thing you know? Like it will seem more official to me.

However, I told one of my teachers this and she looked at me like I had a di...on my forehead...ok bad analogy. She looked at me like I was crazy. I know this is extremely trivial but what would you do?

Keep in mind this is the only school I want to attend, and I am dying to know. I just don't want to spoil the moment(or breakdown crying over my laptop).

I know a few people who are doing the same thing. I wouldn't be able to stand it myself, I'm too impatient, but I get what you mean.

Yes. Yes, you are.

But, hey, I understand. Laptops are very sensitive things, and I wouldn't want mine to short-circuit, either. :D

Man, I'm terrible - I can't say anything without an edge of sarcasm these days...

my d wants that envelope...seems more real...there is a pretty strong clue on her EA schools website about her status...

but she wants the mail..I am not allowed to touch it for the next three days...not even peek...eek

Not strange at all. More visceral...good for you.

Thanks for the mixed responses :D

And I still don't have the decision! How long does mail take to get from Maine to New York!

During this busy time? Mail service even for that distance is unpredictable. Bah, Humbug!

You.... are.... wierd. j/k.
Oh the suspense.
