ambiguous application status :(

<p>i didnt get any email so i requested my account info.. when i check the account it says:
"We have received all materials necessary to begin the review of your Early Decision application. Should we have any questions or require further materials from you, we will contact you directly via email or telephone. If you have not already done so, please check your email address to be sure we have your current email on record.</p>

<p>does that mean they have both teacher recs, ssr report and transcript etc? also this person is writing me an extra rec..did they receive that? i wish dartmouth like other colleges such as mit would tell if each thing was received or not.. one of my teachers isnt reliable.. as of last week..he wasnt done with all his recs -_-...

<p>Don’t worry. It sounds like they have received your materials. If any part is missing, the admissions office will contact you and let you know accordingly.</p>

<p>Here is a tip that I learned from CC . Include a self addressed postcard to each component of your application. Make a small note on it that says “Mr. X recommendation” or “Peer Rec”. When you get back those postcards you know that the college had received that part of your application. Just for your peace of mind. Worth the 37 cents postcard.</p>
