Hi! I took the AMC 12B in February and got a score of 100.5, which qualified me for the AIME (floor was 91.5). I took the AIME I offered in March and received a 6.
When I start applying for colleges this fall, which of these scores is worth reporting to top colleges? Either? Both? None?
Both are great scores so report them. I do not think the scores will help too much at top colleges though. DS scored 10 twice on the AIME and was rejected quite a bit. He did get into some nice schools though, but I do not think it was his AIME score. It certainly does not hurt though and will let schools understand that you are capable of a high level, but one small part of your story.
