American English?

Hi guys,

I'm an International student and English is not my first language.
In school they teach us British English and I speak and write mostly in British.
That's why I'm a little bit worried whether the ETS will accept it. Whoever I ask here they tell me that some points may be taken on my SAT essay if I write in British English.

Is this true or as I think the ETS is more liberal?

Thanks!

I don’t think it makes a difference, and rather it may be beneficial because British English is more strict than its American Counterpart. Most probably your grammar scores will be amazing, assuming that you studied Grammar in Britain.

Both BrE and AmE will carry same, essential meanings in the Essay portion of the SAT. So have no worries :)
