The package came 3 weeks later over the Atlantic

Also, I was awarded $35,450 per year for aid. That isn’t enough, so unfortunately I probably cannot attend, unless it is changed (I can show them 2 other schools which offered me full aid).

@gma1 oh i’m sorry I just assumed from this:
Step 1 - AU account creation
In this step, you will be asked to supply the following information:

* American University (AU) ID (from your acceptance packet)

that you had to wait for your package

@natalie_sd
did they offer you a scholarship? how much do your parent make a year?

@nathalia I live in South Texas.

^^^^Has anyone who has not yet heard tried this link? I did, using the AU ID at the bottom of the mass email that everyone got about deciding among the colleges to which you’ve been accepted. It didn’t work for me, but maybe some of you will be successful at getting a sneak peek at your decision.

No, ID begins with the letters of your name and finishes with a or b

Well I guess that would be why it didn’t work for me!! Thanks for the reply though.

Accepted into School of International Service with a scholorship
Good luck to everyone else waiting to hear :)

how much FA did they give you?

I got my acceptence in the mail with the packet and everything, but I’m a little concerned because there was no mention of any kind of financial aid or scholarships, just nothing.
So my question is, will the financial information come later or did I just get nothing? It’s really freaking me out considering this is my number one choice I’m also eligible for the tuition exchange; does anyone know when they notify people for that scholarship?

My daughter got the blue envelope on Saturday and Did not get a scholarship. No. 4 in class rank. Excellent extracurricular activities. I’m completely stunned. And I’m an alumnus, which I know doesn’t have anything to do with it, but like i said. I’m stunned.

Well, I guess I’ll answer my own post. No scholarship offer. Nada, nothing. Spoke with admissions and FA office. Most applicants were in the top 10 of their class, scholarships only went to the absolute best students. (probably those with the highest SAT’s, I imagine) I can’t even explain my disappointment. And as someone who attended the school myself, and loved it…well…I don’t think we can swing this.
