@CaptainBeckett I’d say all it means is you didn’t get waitlisted lol. Could be an acceptence or rejection.
@marylandgirl1111 I got my acceptance yesterday and was admitted into their Public Health Scholars accelerated program. If you were admitted into one of the three year programs, it should be in your letter.
Has anybody heard anything in NH? Still awaiting anxiously!
On the AU portal, where exactly is the decision letter, or is it not online? I’m on the enrollment agreement page under housing and see start term Fall 2019 but nothing about FA meaning I didn’t get any? If someone could answer this it would be much appreciated.
Haven’t received a letter but used the portal trick – says that I’ve been admitted have completed my enrollment agreement (I did not) and says I will be emailed info for my “spring classes” even though I applied for fall 2019. Anyone having a similar issue? Also, has anyone used the portal trick and seen a rejection? I really hope all these portal acceptances are not errors!
Hi all, I’m in the suburban Chicago area. Nothing yet. Saw an earlier post about a girl in Chicago who already got her letter. Has anyone else in this area received anything? Portal trick also isn’t working.
Did waitlist come by mail too or in portal?
@laroyri Did you happen to check the AU portal beforehand? Also in RI and the portal says I’m accepted but no mail yet.
Relieved!!!
Received the white big envelope today in NorCal
Accepted
CLEG Dean’s Scholarship
GPA: 3.5 UW 4.0 W
ACT: 33
Few ECs but very committed.
Maybe AU mailed things in alphabetical order/ which would explain why people in the same states are getting mail or aren’t…
Last year people were getting acceptances the FOLLOWING Thursday last year (which would be 3/28 this year). Lord help us all!!!
So disappointed. I visited twice—did Summer preview day and Winter preview day plus webinars and emails etc. Really wanted to go to AU and worked really hard to make it happen. Honestly don’t know what I could’ve done differently…
My portal yesterday said that I wasn’t accepted into mentorship for fall 2019. But few minutes ago when I checked it, it says I now have an option to be part of the mentorship program for fall 2019… I have no idea whats going on. Also, it says Spring 2020 for “Term” section.
I will wait for the actual letter package to see what’s up.
For those who are already attending or know a lot about AU, if I attend Fall 2019 Mentorship (and be official AU student in Spring 2020), will I still be graduating with Class of 2023 students who began their education at AU in Fall 2019 w/o mentorship?
Honestly, what is up with AU as far as notifying students? If people can just check the portal, why are they bothering to send via snail mail? And why does there have to be a portal “trick?” No other school my daughter applied to made it this complicated. She got an email with the decision or an email telling her to check the portal. Done and done! She is not very invested in AU, and we’re hoping it comes in the mail today, but so annoying.
where do you go on the portal to check your application status?
It is very depressing- if this is how things are done at AU:(
Best wishes to your son!
@franzgzlz I went to LIFE @ AU, then clicked on “New Students”, then on the right side of the screen, you’ll find Enrollment Agreement and Housing Application. That’s where I found out about mentorship and so on.

What are the chances of getting off of the waitlist??
My son got the same message while trying to access the portal.
