Haven’t heard back yet in NY but can’t sign into portal. I have a 91 gpa and 2070 sat and I thought I had a good chance at American but maybe not.

Breakup and randomkid, I suspect you are accepted, but just haven’t heard or can’t sign in. Breakup, if you made it to 2nd round consideration for special programs, you obviously cleared the first hurdle of admission to AU in the first place. Hang in there. Mailing takes time and tech glitches are rife in every segment of our digitized lives.
I can make an account but when I click financial aid letter it says it is not available at the moment online. I live in NJ and haven’t gotten any letter yet. What do you all think? Super nervous with an 85.9 gpa and a 2280 SAT
In CA. Haven’t received anything yet. I was in second round for honors college but didn’t get into honors. Do they reject many people after they make the second round for honors?
My son received an email today congratulating him on his acceptance and inviting him to an event in Hartford, CT. The only issue is he has not received his acceptance package in the mail yet. So much for being surprised. He is able to log into the portal but it has not been updated yet.
Received letter today in SE Michigan! I’ll be in NYC so I can’t attend the admitted student day and the closest reception is during my spring break, but I’ll be house sitting, oh well, guess I’ll just have to wait.
Nothing yet in PA so looks like a rejection - but got accepted to UVA go figure - so it’s a really good day here anyway!!!
Lol nothing in NC yet. 2100, 3.7, and African-American female from the rural south. Thought I had a couple things going for me
@rivn2l8 if you got into UVA you’ll probably get into American. UVA has a 30% acceptance rate and American has a 43% acceptance rate.
@coffeewithmilk I also received an invitation to an admitted students reception but I haven’t received the admissions packet! Hopefully it’s just a mail mix up!

Accepted and I’m from CA! I got my letter yesterday and the email for admitted students today. Congrats to everyone else that also got admitted!!

I received an acceptance in the mail a few days ago but did not get an admitted students email. Is anyone else on the same boat?
This release of decisions seems very inconsistent. Some have gotten only an email, some only a letter, and some (like me) have not received anything yet.
Received my letter today in Oklahoma. 1840 SAT and 3.2 GPA. Could anybody shed some light on the University College program? I was invited to that but I’m unsure if it is just a generic invitation or not. Thanks and good luck everybody.
How does one obtain a AU ID to register for the portal?
@lesliesanchez1 you probably received it in one of the emails from admissions, like when they confirmed your admission. It’s at the bottom of a lot of your correspondence.
