American University transfer spring semester chances?

Hi! I can’t find American’s transfer acceptance rate anywhere online. I’m interested in transferring, but the fall deadline has passed, so I’m thinking about the spring. I didn’t have a great gpa first semester- right under a 3.0…about 2.9. However, I had better high school stats: 3.85/4 unweighted, 4.2 weighted. 1960 sat…editor in chief of newspaper, varsity soccer captain, Nhs officer…also Hispanic & Spanish is spoken at home. If I were to maintain mostly As this semester, could I have a chance of being accepted? Also, I didn’t put AU on my fasfa…so would that mean I wouldn’t be eligible for any aid? Thanks! Any feedback would be great.
