American vs Rutgers vs UMass vs GWU for Communication

So it’s come down to these three schools for my daughter who is interested at this point in studying Political Communication. Rutgers has the School of Communication and Information, and would be practically free to go to, but money is not really a big issue in this situation. In general we are leaning toward American for smaller class sizes, but are worried that American doesn’t have the reputation and name-recognition of Rutgers or even UMass. Rutgers also loses marks with my daughter because of the scattered campuses and the need to take buses to get around. UMass seems remote to her and unlikely to offer internship opportunities of the kind American could. I guess I am asking if going to American is a clear choice here, or is there something more favorable about attending Rutgers or Umass that I am overlooking. She’s also waitlisted at GWU and still hoping to get in. That seems to be egregiously priced, and even though we can pay for it if she gets in, it just seems wrong to do so. Please chime in - WWYD?!
