***Amherst College Class of 2019 Regular Decision Applicants***

Rejected! Not disappointed, saw it coming and Amherst isn’t a good fit for me. Congratulations on all who were admitted! And for those of you who weren’t, keep your chin up!

Where do you go to see the decision? I can’t see anything on the portal

@ihatethesouth, go to the acdata portal, click applicants, then admissions decision update is the letter

Rejected, but s didn’t want to go there anyway, so it’s no loss :>

@AnonCanon‌ has the best picture to describe being rejected. I just got rejected but oh well! Swarthmore, Bowdoin, or Middlebury here I come!

Accepted! It’ feels surreal.

Well I was pretty disappointed because Amherst was one of my top choices, but I’m still waiting for a few more decisions so I guess there’s still hope

@michigandermom Congratulations!!! You should be very proud of your D.! https://www.amherst.edu/academiclife/dean_faculty/funding/schupf

Accepted!!!

So shocked. 3.46 gpa/35ACT… I think a magnificent letter of rec from my English teacher did the trick.

Thanks @TheOtterOne, I am! But to be fair, I was ridiculously proud of her before she even applied to college

Accepted! What wonderful news, can’t wait to visit and see if I’ll be there in the fall! Congrats to all the other accepted applicants - what a great achievement.

D waitlisted with 2300, 3.98 UW, 790/750 SAT IIs.

She’s struck out at the top-25 LACs she applied to, with one waitlist after another (except for Pomona, which flat out rejected her). Oddly, she’s done much better at top-25 universities, with acceptances at WashU, Rice, Emory, UCB, and UCLA. It’s a crazy process!

I can access my Amherst account, but it won t log into my ac data. I want to check my admission status, but I can’t. Anyone know what to do?

Waitlisted. Upsetting because I was rejected from Swarthmore yesterday.
Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!

I got accepted but now I face a choice between at least Amherst and WashU. I’m still waiting for Ivies next week but having to choose from these two is already a pain in the ass. I was sure I’d fail on Amherst application so I kinda prepared myself for WashU already. Now…

D waitlisted. Last years stats. 1341 offered spot, 600 accepted spot, 61 admitted off list.
