I'm a dual enrollment student with an AA degree completed entirely while dual enrolled and would like to apply to Amherst. Unfortunately, their policy is -

If you have taken International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement or college courses during secondary school, we view this as significant evidence of your academic accomplishment and preparation. In addition, some Amherst departments will allow you to forego introductory-level courses in areas in which you have already completed rigorous work. However, we do not accept such courses for credit or advanced standing.

Does this mean I have no chance? I emailed their admissions office to clarify this, but the auto repy makes it seem as if they don't answer any questions about admissions (they just refer you to the website). bastards :D
