<p>So what's the highest amount of scholarship money you've ever seen someone get granted? I think it's ridiculous on how some people get over 200K and can only use 5k depending on their college policy...I think the total amount of scholarship money received by graduating students at our school was around 2 million...What was it at your school? What's the highest you heard of?</p>
<p>the highest i heard of was my friend in garden grove, who won the gates millennium scholarship in addition to a few others, and he has undergrad and grad and any further education after that all covered</p>

<p>Total at my school was just under $6 million... we've got about 300 graduating seniors, about 175 going to college. One kid got offered three military academy offers which are a TON of money and then most kids in the top 5% get around 2-300K from various schools. That makes up most of the money except for a few sports scholarships.</p>
<p>Our class got $730,000. But there's only about 30 of us.</p>
