Amsco for USH?

would AMSCO be enough to study for the nov SAT II USH? i took APUSH my soph year....two years ago. didn't have anythin to do w/it again till NOW. so honestly, i forgot a LOT of info i learned then.

i have the AMSCO book...do u guys think that's gonna be enough? i heard many good things about it on CC. enough or should i go get somethin else like PR?

AMSCO book is INCREDIBLE. Read through it twice, aced the AP and Subject Test. Use PR or whatever for some practice tests though.

I used Kaplan/the glossary in Sparknotes and did very well.

bamakid -- would AMSCO be enough though if i haven't had USH in like 2 years and probably forgot everything.

could someone tell me what "AMSCO" is?

Thanks

AMSCO School Publications, Inc.

I don't think they sell it in bookstores anymore; if you're going to be taking the November test, I would go ahead and get Kaplan/Sparknotes and not waste time.

i have the amsco book. i'm just checking to see if that's gonna be enough or should i go get somethin else cuz i just checked my local borders and they don't even carry SAT II prep books now...dunno why

I mean, I'd read through AMSCO and then see if you could get Sparknotes. The glossary in the SN book was extremely useful; additionally, the CB book is a must for actual test review.

there's a sparknotes BOOK? or just online review?

There is a book.

can i find the glossary online?

I doubt it, but it's worth a try. It's not vital, but it certainly simplified things as it had all the keys terms concentrated in one area.

okay thanks collegehelllp!!
