Duke
Northwestern

U Michigan
Georgetown
Penn State

Thank you.

You’ll get into most of your choices. The more competitive schools (Columbia, Wharton etc.) are crapshoot for everybody but I still think you have a very good chance. Don’t sweat it and do well in your SAT IIs.

Don’t worry about your SAT I scores (I know that SOMEBODY will say they’re low). They’re not at all; they clearly show you have a high aptitude in mathematics which is an area which most likely has to do with your studies). My scores are exactly the same except the CR and W are switched and I have 10 points less in my Math portion (you probably got an easier curve… I only missed 1 question :stuck_out_tongue: ). MY GC told me the same thing I told you above.

Plus you’re international requiring no aid, with many ECs; the adcoms will love you.

Decent shot at most of them. But Pakistan is hardly the most dangerous country in the world.

The tough ones on the list are:

Williams–Reach
Wharton–Reach
Columbia–Slight Reach
Dartmouth–Slight Reach
Duke–Match to Slight Reach
Northwestern–Match to Slight Reach
Brown–Match to Slight Reach
Georgetown–Match to Slight Reach
and UChicago–Match to Slight Reach

You should get in at all the others except Cornell (only if you are applying for the business program, since only 20 internationals a year get into the business program there).

Good luck.

P.S. Based upon recent events, an unstable government, and the number of Al Queda terrorists in the western part of the country, Pakistan might be the most dangerous country in the world right now.

Foooreal i do not appreciate that you put that on your title. I am a Pakistani too…

I think the title is a reference to this week’s cover from The Economist.

Haha…good to know that there are other The Economist readers around.

Yes, according to The Economist, & October issue of Newsweek.

I feel much more optimistic now, thank you for the advice.

Before I felt like everything was a reach, and that I should be adding safeties.

Actually, in rechecking my numbers, it’s about 70 internationals that get into the Cornell Business program each year (about 35 actually enroll).
