My school doesn't have AP courses, the California community colleges were packed with UC and Cal State students trying to get rid of english courses, and I'm just an awful test taker all around.

So, I'm taking the Analytical Writing Placement Exam.

Any help please? (: Anyone who's taken it before?

Show up and answer the prompt. Thats about it.

I thought it was a pretty easy exam. You show up, they give you a prompt, and answer with an essay. This essay has to have a good argument (pick one side, don’t be wishywashy), support your argument with strong examples, link your examples back to the thesis of your argument, and structure the whole thing in a logical format.

So it’s pretty much any another analytical paper you’ve written before.

haven’t you taken district writing tests before? i know everyone took one in junior year. pretty similar to that.

if your SAT writing is high enough you can be exempt from it, by the way.
