analytical writing placement exam

ugh. I have to take it. I searched the forum but it doesn't say how difficult it is to pass. I'm an okay writer but i have a bad feeling about this. Just incase i don't pass should i enroll in to a summer community college class that will fulfill the requirement? Is there anyway i could not take the test...take the community college class and get a c or better during the summer. I don't want to spend $65!!!!!

its very easy. i took it because my AP score didnt come in until after the AWPE was administered. if you're an ok writer, you should have no problem

easy as pie. i thought it was easier than SATII writing.

It wasn't that easy.
I failed that thing but managed to get a 4 for the AP lit test.

Have you looked into getting a fee waiver for the exam?

And I don't think you find out the results for the exam until sometime mid-summer. So it would be too late to enroll in summer classes.

That test is strictly Composition based, you write.

AP Lit exam, is extremely analytical.

so a strong intro w/ clear thesis, three body paragraphs with strong topic sentences and support, a conclusion restating the thesis...

something like that? i was going to sign up for the summer class soon...before the results come out. But i won't be able to finish the class before orientation. Does that make a difference?

That is more then enough, I took the placement exam cold. I always took the Science/Math AP's and all the AP History classes, now that I think about it, I should have taken Comp. or Lit. so that I could have had one my Saturdays off.

It's a really easy exam, probably the easiest thing that is associated to UCLA, after that everything requires work.

okay thanks for the feedback.
