Ann Arbor vs. Madison

I'm sure this topic has been discussed to death, but anyway:

Which is the better college town?

Theres no way to give an objective answer to that.... entirely subjective

I agree. You can sail in Madison. That's about the only thing.

I think Madison is a better college town. Ranked #1 for Party School by Playboy and I know it's up there in Princeton Review's rankings. It has a lake, and frats that dock on the lake, can you say boat parties, lol! Also the town has a capitol building. Sports Illustrated on Campus named it the #1 school for campus spirit. But you have to visit both campuses and judge for yourself.

I think Madison is quite possibly the only college town in my book that rivals Ann Arbor. Madison has the lake and it's really beautiful for that reason. I think Michigan might be a little bit more of a "college town" because it's not a state capital and finds much of its identity in the university. All i can say is visit. They're the two best college towns in the country if you ask me.

Madison is awesome. In some ways it is nicer than Ann Arbor, in other ways, Ann Arbor is better. They are both incredible college towns.
