I got a B for history this term with an 89.3. I didn't turn in 2 assignments and I dropped from 103% to an 89.3%. This history class is widely regarded as one of the easiest courses in the school and now I feel like an idiot for messing this up. I literally could've spent 5 minutes to complete one of those missing assignments to bring up to an A. Curse my apathy. Does anyone else have any similar stories?

^ Story of my life

English last year. Happened to me for midmarks (mid quarter grades…really pointless) because I didn’t feel like doing a homework assignment. Luckily we had an essay due soon and I could get it back up to par.

This was english my freshman year.

I feel your deep and profound pain

Are you me?!

I think we must be twins! Exact same situation, except I ended the semester with a 88.9. Understandably, the teacher refused to round up.

It was a traumatizing experience (which may sound silly…but it was my first B and I was short-sighted and naive). But hey–you know what? I learned my lesson after that semester. I haven’t slacked off since then and my grades are all looking up :)

Are you ****ing me???

I didn’t think it’d be important, so I didn’t do this extra credit assignment for AP Chem. Now, with 4 days left in the semester, I have a 92%, 1% from an A!!
I think I can get it up, but still.

Happened to me with 9th grade honors english and honors world history.
So close to an A…so close…

this happened to me today in health. i mean health. the easiest effing class ever. but i was like “oh, it’s health, i can pull off an a easy without doing any of the homework”. yeah… not so much. ****ing 89%.

^Colleges don’t look at health.

Happened in a ton of my junior high classes.

bubba - seriously?! but it still gets incorporated into your cumulative gpa, right?
